And the Name is...

I know everyone is anxiously awaiting this little baby girl's name, and we have decided on Campbell Gray Jeanis! I found this awesome photographer in Hermosa Beach, Cali who takes pictures of your baby's name in the sand on Hermosa Beach, so I am getting this printed and framed from her, to go above her crib! It is all starting to come together. I am doing an Aloha Hawaiian Beach theme for the nursery, shocking I know, and it is just so much fun right now with packages arriving every day to add to the nursery. It really is like X-mas every day at my house, while Rusty just shakes his head as I open the packages. Hopefully by mid-Jan I will have all of the nursery signage and get that up on the walls and I will take some pics of the nursery decorations once they are all up.

22 Weeks and Aching

So I guess it has come to that point where my entire right side of my body is just aching when I sit down especially at work. I guess it is just stretching and man does it hurt! Sleeping is definitely a challenge now, with a Boppy body pillow on one side and a regular pillow on the other, and the hardest part is just rolling over from one side to the other.

On another note, this is the latest closet situation, and a clothes update! She is going to be one cute-dressed baby girl!! Thanks to my mom and I, sometimes we just can't resist when we see a cute outfit.

Nursery Coming Along

Well I am working on the decor for the nursery. We are doing an Beach Aloha Theme, shocking for us I know! But I am waiting on a lot of stuff to come in as far as signs, curtains, etc. But I did put the bedding on the crib and it turned out so cute! I wanted all colors as I am not huge on Pink, so Pottery Barn Kids had this adorable all color one that I loved! So this way I can incorporate my favorite color Orange, and then Red of course for OU! It's crazy to think how much goes into making a nursery and a new room, it has been so long since I have had to decorate like this, but it is so much fun thinking of creative ways to make it cute! She will definitely be Beach Baby and enjoy her trips to Maui with us when she gets older!

Half Way There- 20 Week Sono

Well it is DEFINITELY a GIRL! We confirmed today at our 20 week sono that it is a girl! We are so excited, and a good thing as this little girl already has a closet full of pink clothes and girl bedding! I have just now started feeling this little one move every now and then. The Dr. said it is just going to get more often as she was a mover in the sono today. She was not being very still for the pics, thanks to advice from Jennifer on having me drink a Dr Pepper before the sonogram! Crazy to think that we are half way there! Time to SHOP!!! Can't wait until she is here! I will try to get a new belly shot soon, I am getting bigger that is for sure. The only thing that makes me feel better is Jessica Simpson is due this Spring too and she is much bigger than me, see below! Whoa!

15 Weeks Belly Shot

15 Weeks

SURPRISE!!!!! It's A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

So 15 Weeks, and we had a BIG DAY on Saturday! Thanks to one of my best friends, Jennifer, we went to her office and one of the Dr's came in to do a 3D Sonogram so that we can tell the sex of the baby! I have never seen Rusty so excited as far as when we first got there and we all just sat anxiously awaiting. Then came the sonogram, and sure enough, Baby Jeanis is a little GIRL! Rusty was like a deflated balloon...so sad he had his hopes up for a little boy, and then to follow this news his beloved Aggies lost, so needless to say, it was not a good day for Rusty on Saturday. However, by Sunday he was so much better and happy that the baby is healthy and said well "It was a 50/50 shot"! I was just ecstatic as I have always wanted a little girl, and Amy and my mom were also just thrilled. Over the last 2 years as my friends have started having babies I would pick up or order gifts and just keep them to give as shower gifts, not surprisingly, they were all girl gifts. Well guess who is keeping ALL of those now! Hence the reason for the closet already starting to fill up. Plus my mom got a couple of little things already on Saturday, and then thanks to Jennifer I already have my Pink Boppy Pillow as she went and bought that for me on Saturday right after our appt too! So fun too that we ran into Gwen and Cecily at Babies R Us right after so I got to share the news with them first! We go for our real sono at 20 weeks probably end of Nov/early Dec with my Dr, so that will hopefully confirm this but the Dr was pretty positive without a doubt this is a girl!

13 Weeks

Yay for the 2nd Trimester!!! Here is my very 1st captured Belly Shot! It was a fun day on Saturday as my mom and I went to Dallas and hit the Jackpot on Maternity clothes thanks to my friend Tami! We found the Gap Maternity and the Love 21 Maternity (Forever 21's Maternity Section) and it was just so much fun finding jeans and leggings to finally be comfortable in as you can see the belly is definitely showing now! I cannot tell you how uncomfortable I was in my regular jeans and slacks for work with the Belly Band, and now I am in pure Heaven! I also did some serious cleaning and re-arranging of the closets yesterday, and am proud to say the baby's closet is clean! The room not so much! But we will get there and still have tons of time! Only 2 more weeks, and we go to get a 3D Sono at 15 weeks on Oct. 29th to see if we have a baby girl or boy Jeanis, thanks to Jennifer for hooking us up with getting to do this! I am still feeling nauseous all day, everyone keeps telling me any day now in the 2nd Trimester it goes away, well I am counting down and praying every day is that day!

I can't help but love this! My favorite Starbucks drink of all times is back, the Pumpkin Spice Latte! It is absolutely amazing, and will definitely be my savior this fall and winter!
