Almost there

Well my due date is Monday, April 16th, so I went into the Dr yesterday hoping for some good news! I was dilated at 3cm and 90%effaced measuring 41 so looks good she said, but her head is still a tad too high but it is down. SO she stripped my membranes which is good and supposed to help induce labor, so praying that I go into labor any day now. However, if not, then we did go ahead set me up to get induced Tuesday, April 17th at 5am! So there is light at the end of the tunnel! Even though there is a risk of c-section when you get induced, I could end up going into labor and have a c-section just as well, so I am going to just go for it. I don't want her to get too big and not be able to deliver her and have a c-section anyways, so the plan is Tuesday! We are so excited and hoping she decides to make her appearance before then, maybe this weekend!

37 Weeks- Full Term Yay!

So last week I started doing some major walking with Bella to bring labor on hopefully!!! We did over 10 miles in 3 days last week alone, and well now that it is getting hotter, it becomes a little harder with Bella. It was only 85 degrees but looking at her walking you would have thought it was 100 degrees! She can be a pansy when it comes to the heat, and I guess the fact that I was powerwalking! So she decides to just dart off into the shade and sits down or lays down in the grass to where she will NOT get back up! I end up looking like a total idiot, here's a 9 month preggo lady trying to pick this 108lb dog up to get her to walking again and she won't budge! It is so embarrassing! We will see how this week goes.

Besides that, getting absolutely miserable now, waking up at least 15 times at night to go pee, that's fun! And then pair that with my Pregnancy Carpal Tunnel in my fingers and then arms when I fall asleep, and heartburn, I really do just dread going to sleep every night knowing how terrible it will be! I am praying that Campbell decides to make her appearance any day now, now that she is full term. I know that everyone probably hopes to have their babies a little earlier than their due dates but then those are probably the ones that go all the way and end up getting induced, so I am just hoping that is not the case. My Dr. did say we will not go past my due date due to my thyroid condition so I guess if April 16th gets here and she hasn't come we will be inducing maybe a couple of days before that or that day but we will see! Keep your fingers crossed that she comes any day now!!!

36 Weeks Sonogram

Here are our pics from our 36 Weeks Sonogram yesterday! She is measuring 6lbs 6oz and everything looked good! I am progressing, I was 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced so we will see how it progresses at my appt next week as I am going weekly now. Really she said any day my water could break or I could wait until my due date, you just never know! I am hoping it is next week or the first week of April! But we can just wait and see what happens!

So my cousin Cecily and my Aunt Gwen threw my family shower March 3rd, waiting on more pics from Ces, but here are a couple that I got! They had the house decorated so adorable like a Luau with everything flip flops, ocean colored punch, and Aloha Cake!!! It was too much and I appreciate all that they did!!! Little Miss Campbell got a ton of cute stuff both necessity and cute clothing of course! This child's closet is unreal! But it was so great to see all of my family that got to come out!

I miss more than anything Diet Dr. Pepper, my OB didn't want me drinking the diet drinks during pregnancy so I gave it up but I did buy a 24 pack the other day for the house because you better believe I am drinking those when I get home from the hospital! I already am bringing a 6 pack of bottles to the hospital with me for right after too! And then last weekend we put the car seat all together and installed the base into my car so that we are ready to go to the hospital whenever now! Bags are packed and loaded to get them out of the house! We have a sonogram next Wednesday at my 36 week appt so we will hopefully get a better idea of how big she is and how long we will have to wait for her to make her appearance!

34 Weeks Belly Shot

Well I am definitely feeling like a whale right about now! This belly cannot possibly get any better but I know it is going too! She is moving like crazy this week and you can see her on my stomach as she moves which Rusty likes to watch but yet thinks it is still a little weird at the same time! But I am just so ready now! Went to the OB yesterday, measuring at 36 so hopefully she will be coming early! Countdown is definitely here!

A couple of my work friends threw me a Work Shower last week, and it was so sweet of them to do that! It was my favorite colors Orange and Pink of course! I got so many cute things including a handmade blanket, diapers, wipes, burp clothes, all kinds of goodies, and then the money tree is going to be a HUGE help to help me get the rest of the stuff off my registry! Thanks to Shawnda, Kim, Shelby, Sunny and Heather for making this a wonderful shower! Love you guys!

Gifts at the Shower--It was Nuts!


We had my 1st shower last weekend for all of my friends! There were 8 FABULOUS hostesses that truly went overboard on everything! Kenzi, Amy, Stacy, Jennifer, Tami, Katie, Kristen, and Sayler! I am so lucky to have such amazing friends that took the time to make this shower the best ever! We had it at Deb-Deb's, Kenzi's grandmothers' house, which is beautiful, and the people just kept coming! It was a packed house, and I was so excited to see my friends and Rusty's friends also from out of town that made the trip in just to come, it meant so much to me! I have never been to a shower where anyone got as many 1) Clothes, and 2) Embroidered/Monogrammed things! This girl will definitely never have problems remembering her name because Campbell is on EVERYTHING!!! We got the cutest things ever and I was just overwhelmed at seeing what all everyone brought for Campbell! This girl is truly loved already and she isn't even here! It was so nice to have high school friends, college friends, work friends, and even some of the moms that I have grown up with show up!

After getting everything unloaded at the house I laid it all out so that Rusty could come home and see it all! It was just amazing! He was in shock and didn't have a clue where I would put everything! We are definitely going to need a bigger house soon! Thank you to everyone who came out and for all the thoughtful gifts, it was all too much! I love you all!

Rusty's Baby Bjorn

Well I thought it only fitting since Rusty has been saying that he is going to take Campbell everywhere in one of those baby carrier things as he called it, to get him the Baby Bjorn for Valentine's Day! He loved it! He posted on FB that he will be headed to Home Depot and Jos A Banks with that on. So last night he wanted to try it out and make sure that he knows how to work it for when Campbell gets here. After finally figuring it out, he put a baby doll in to try it out and to try to teach Bella that the she was the baby. Bella didn't really understand needless to say, but the Baby Bjorn did look great on him! He is so excited to use it!

31 Week Belly Shot

31 Weeks and high blood pressure! Starting having high blood pressure about 2 weeks ago when I had the flu or the end of the flu I should say, then last week I went in for the lingering cough and it was high, and took it last night and sure enough high! Called the OB on call nurse and she said if it went over 90 to go in to the OB triage, I hovered around 84-86 all night so didn't go in and called my OB this morning to see what we should do about it, so waiting to hear back from her. I am really hoping it will go down and everything will be ok!

On another note, excited about my 1st baby shower this Saturday coming up! Can't wait to see all of my friends and get a chance to catch up with all of them! Kind of scared to bring home anything else as Rusty is going to flip out on how much stuff it takes to have a baby, but he will just have to get over it, and I know he will be thankful to have everything once she gets here!

30 Weeks

Well it seems like 10 more weeks is a long time to go! I am seriously over having Heartburn every single day pretty much off and on all day long. It is absolutely awful! Doesn't matter what I eat or don't eat, I am still getting it. On top of that, the pain and stretching in my right back side is just awful too! I knew that it was not going to be easy but seems like I have gotten every symptom in the book so far, while you hear others who had the best and easiest pregnancies ever, well I don't want to hear about it! The next one better be like that because this is absolutely miserable!

On another note, Amy and I are going to a Baby Basics class tomorrow to learn about changing diapers, bathing the baby, umbilical cord after, etc. Fun stuff since we have no clue on any of that!

Other than that, we are just playing the waiting game. Going to the OB every 2 weeks now, and waiting on my showers to get here so I can figure out what else I need to get. Me being the planner it just kills me not having everything I need yet, but I know it will all come together with time to spare.

Finally, last night Rusty felt her kick at least 6 times or so, along with just watching her move in my belly which is the weirdest thing ever. Kind of looks like an alien is inside your stomach moving around, very strange but awesome at the same time. She is definitely active which is good, and Rusty just loved finally being able to witness it more than once.

And then came the FLU!

Well it all started when Rusty got diagnosed with the flu last Friday at the Dr. I had the flu shot and he did not this year. But that didn't stop me from catching his flu! Sure enough Sat I went to the Dr and was told I had it too! It was absolutely terrible and I would never wish that on anyone, thankfully I think we caught mine early enough and my OB on-call called me in Tamiflu since the CareNow people did not give that to me. It took a good 4 days but I am finally feeling much better and so glad to have that past us.

On another note, had my 29 week appt today and had the glucose test done so we will hope for good results on that one! And then now I start going to my OB every 2 weeks, meaning we are getting closer!

28 Weeks Belly Shot

And there is the pop for sure! She is definitely out there. I go next week to the Dr for the Glucose Test and to see how much bigger she is measuring. Last time at 24 weeks she was measuring ahead so hopefully we are still on that track!

Nursery Pics

Well it seems that the nursery is complete! I don't think anything else can fit on the walls or anywhere and Rusty told me it is done, no more! I absolutely love it! The Aloha Hawaiian Beach Theme couldn't have turned out better, it fits us perfect! My favorite of course is her name carved in the sand above the crib, and then the rug I love too! Can't wait for people to see it in person!
